BYOK keeps prompts and data under your control, costs at wholesale, and choice of provider in your hands. Managed gateways create a single point of trust, telemetry, and price markup — we chose not to build one.

Any OpenAI-compatible API: OpenAI, Anthropic (via SDK adapter), Gemini, Groq, OpenRouter, Ollama, Azure OpenAI, xAI, Together, Fireworks, DeepSeek, Mistral. You can also set a custom base URL.

Can I use my existing draw.io files?

Yes. Round-trip .drawio XML import/export ships in Sprint 3. Mermaid, CSV outline, and SQL→ERD are also supported. Exports include PNG, SVG, PDF, and HTML embed.

Import from .vsdx is on the Sprint 3 roadmap via a conversion pipeline. Export to Visio is planned as a Pro-tier feature.

Yes. Free tier includes up to 25 saved diagrams, community templates, and 100 AI prompts per month with your own key. Pro at ₹499/year removes the diagram cap and unlocks team spaces.

How do I invite my team?

Workspace-based sharing with roles (owner, admin, moderator, member) is available today. Team spaces (private multi-user workspaces) unlock on Pro.

Is my data encrypted?

Yes. Data at rest is encrypted at the storage layer; BYOK provider keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM using a per-project secret. Row-level security isolates every table by user or workspace.

Can I self-host?

Self-hosting is planned for Sprint 6. The managed cloud runs on isolated, per-workspace infrastructure until then.

How does Talk to Rafa work?

Rafa is an agentic assistant that reads your canvas state (nodes, edges, groups, layers), calls tools to modify it, and responds inline with proposed changes you can accept or reject. It runs on your BYOK LLM and never uses a shared gateway.

What does RAG mean here?

You upload sources (docs, PDFs, URLs) and Flowmira indexes them locally. Ask a question and Rafa retrieves relevant passages, cites them, and can drop the answer as a canvas note or annotation. Learning RAG improves ranking from your feedback.
